Yeah, I guess we should cut holes in them for now. I'll ask Yuteru to sew them the right way later. [He hands a pair of scissors to Gabriel, this time approaching him properly.]

Uh, wait here for a second, okay? [And without waiting for a response, he dashes back toward his room.]

Alright.

[Gabriel watches Kaibus leave, then gets to work on the holes. He's done this plenty of times in his life, so he's pretty good at it. When Kaibus returns, Gabriel will be sitting on the couch working on his shirt. Since Kaibus went through all this trouble to get it for him, he doesn't want to ruin it...]

[It doesn't take more than thirty seconds for Kaibus to return with a cross necklace slung around his wrist. Instead of asking for permission to do so, he slides next to Gabriel and ties the leather cord loosely around the back of his neck.]

So? What do you think?

[Gabriel blinks in surprise as Kaibus sits next to him, but doesn't pull away as he feels the pendant going around his neck. He simply looks down, obviously confused, then lifts the charm up to look at it closely.]

It's... [He struggles to find the word.] ...Thank you.

I've had it for a while, but I think it suits you better. [And with a slightly sheepish grin:] It looks good on you. I knew it would!

[cruenta]

[Kaibus might notice that Gabriel's ears have gone pink.] Why are you doing all of this for me?

[untroubled]

'Cause you're you. [He's definitely a bit flushed as well; even his smile carries a trace of shyness.]

[cruenta]

That's not a good answer. [Huff.]

[untroubled]

Sure it is. You're my friend, and I really like you, so....

[cruenta]

[Gabriel's expression becomes something of a pout, and then he puts the shirt on, being careful not to tear it as he maneuvers his wings through the carefully cut holes. After that's done, he pulls the pendant out so that it hangs over his shirt.]

Does this look okay? [He looks down at the outfit, looking rather unsure.]

[untroubled]

It couldn't look better! You're really questioning my fashion sense?

[cruenta]

No, it's just... [Gabriel's ears are still pink.] It seems too flashy for me, don't you think?

[untroubled]

No way, you look great! Trust me on this one.

[cruenta]

If you say so. [He fidgets a bit, then gazes at the pendant again.]
